Everyone can’t do everything! It is really important that you communicate to your customers, partners or staff that you can’t do something. Too many fitness pros have this complex that they need to be the best at everything. That is the surefire way into bankruptcy, without a doubt. If you are the best Fitness Trainer in your area then it is your responsibility to be the best Fitness Trainer… that’s it.
If you don’t have the knowledge or skill to be a sales person or manager… one of which I actually suck at, I am the worst manager that ever lived. Especially, of people and time. It takes a lot of work for me to be as organized as I am. It definitely doesn’t come as naturally to me as it does my wife. I have sought out business partners to help keep me focused and accountable. So I know the certain skill set that I have. It is very important to communicate that on every level of your business or you will find that customers, staff and any one else that wants to be part of what you are doing will become frustrated and finally, want nothing to do with you.
