Fitness Expert Rocco Castellano Weigh’s in on Dr. Siegal’s “Cookie Diet”

By on November 20, 2008

Not one to be frightened by legal bloodhounds that have already sent two of my colleagues “cease and desist” notices. I decided it was time for me to weigh in on Dr. Siegal’s “Cookie Diet”.

As happenstance might have it I don’t agree with what the “good” doctor is promoting but the reality is that his diet is not a scam. I personally don’t think that it is the healthiest way to lose weight but I’ll leave that up to you.

Watch the video to find out what kind of challenge I lay down to Dr. Siegal and have a few laughs along the way.

Elizabeth says:

New tagline for Dr. Seigal’s persona: “Run, run as fast as you can. You can’t catch me. I’m the gingerbread man!” (Me thinks he runs all the way to the bank on this one.)

Desert Diva says:

I went to his website because I am nosy…the cookies are $60 per week! You would have to lose weight because you are too broke to cheat!

Michael says:

I love it!!!! You knocked him out the box, Rocco!! It’s a shame how the GOOD Dr. has been conducting business.

Yavor Marichkov says:

This reminds me of Dax’s recent post

zevenesh says:

Oh man, an 800 calorie a day diet? This is insane (More so than I previously thought).

I used to work at a hospital fitness ctr. and all the medical doctors knew NOTHING about proper fitness, exercise selection, technique, etc. – shocking!

Maybe not!

Kill it Rocco 🙂

NYC Boot Camps-Upper West Side says:

Hey Rocco. You fight smarter not harder. I like that. It is sad that a doctor has the right to give exercise and nutrition advice just because they are “board certified doctors” yada, yada, yada. Asking a doctor for fitness and nutrition advice is like asking your dentist for a rectal

Trainer Matt says:

Amen Rocco!

Dr Siegal’s going to need a whole lot more than blood hounds to tackle you man!

great post!
