Eliot Spitzer…Letting it Shine
By Rocco Castellano on March 12, 2008
I don’t know why this bothers me so much. It’s not like I’m some choir boy that never did anything wrong. I think it’s just the absolute stupidity that Eliot Spitzer demonstrates that appalls me. As a former Attorney General of the State of New York I would hope that he would have the sense to not use call girls , 1) because as Jerry Springer found out they will feed you up the minute they get caught 2) Why call girls…why not an affair? As Governor did he believe himself to be untouchable? It’s amazing to me that him of all people would jeopardize his hard fought career for $4300.00 worth of flesh that he happen to come by illegally. It doesn’t make sense.
Here is the former Govenor’s last campaign ad with “This little light of mine, I’m gonna let it shine”. One thing I am a little disgusted at is he would ask his wife to stand by his side in solidarity after he was caught literally with his pants down. I would have spared my wife (if I did something this stupid) the embarrassment of listening to me admit that I betrayed her trust.
Thank goodness for David Letterman. He can always put a great spin on it.
