This is part 2 of me cleaning out my cabinets with one catch… I decided to let you in on what foods I replaced all the bad stuff I threw away. Click below to start video… and as always don’t forget to leave a comment.
It’s pretty crazy to see that when I started back on my journey to obtaining real health and eliminating High Fructose Corn Syrup and Soy from my diet that I found foods in my own cabinet that contained these dangerous products. I thought maybe the High Fructose Corn Syrup Gremlin came in to my house and tried to poison us with these foods. No… that really wasn’t the case. They just snuck into my cabinets by my own hand in moments of weakness.
So if these nasty food products can find there way into my cabinets, I know that they have used their trickery to get in to yours. I have put together a little video to show you what I found in my cabinets in hope that it will inspire or motivate you to clean out your cabinets of the “axis of evil” aka High Fructose Corn Syrup and Soy Products.
Today’s podcast is about 3 specific things you can do right this second to start losing weight. The average consumers food supply is chock full of processed foods that have fake sugars, fakes fats and fake nutrients… eating real will always be better than eating fake. There is no secret formula like everyone wants you to believe… but there are certain guidelines. Eating certain foods to help your metabolism, eliminate foods that suppress your metabolism and understanding each of them.
There is more to the story for efficient and more effective fat loss but this is a great starting point for you. I have come to realize that the easier you make the steps the easier it is for people to follow. Not a hard concept to grasp.

If it’s not one thing it’s another. Boo fuckin’ hoo … Rocco you say that you should eat organic fruits and vegetables, organic grass fed and grass finished beef, bison, elk, venison and yak but I can’t afford to eat like that. That kind of food is too expensive!
This is what I hear on a regular basis from people who are fat and are starting to have stress and obesity related health problems. If you don’t pay now you will definitely pay later… and instead of enjoying good healthy food that tastes great and is more nutritious… you will be spending the same amount or more on medications that I know have a disgusting taste and are going to just help you prolong your death. If you don’t believe me just ask all the people that are sucking life out of the American healthcare system.
I was so irritated after a phone call I received today that I had to do a podcast about it. Click on the audio player below to start listening to it.[audio:http://roccocastellan.wpengine.com/audio/if-you-cant-afford-food.mp3]
Two huge points he made in the beginning need some clarification.
1) Genetics have “absolutely” changed in the last 30 years. The gene pool has become so mixed from different races as well as different cultures that the American skeleton and musculature is way different than it was 30 years ago.
2) Fructose is not the problem… “free floating” fructose is the problem, such as what is in High Fructose Corn Syrup. Fructose, the sugar from fruit does not act in the body the same way as it does when delivered through High Fructose Corn Syrup. Fructose when eaten in fruit is burned… and quite efficiently, I might add. Fructose delivered to the body as High Fructose Corn Syrup is stored directly as fat from the liver because your body burned the sucrose molecule and left the fructose floating around aimlessly. So the body in it’s own wisdom snatches it up and stores it so it can cause any potential damage.
I wish these doctors would get it right… now we will have millions of people thinking they shouldn’t be eating fruit… which by the way is better than vegetables for your digestive system but that’s for another post.
Here’s a little audio commentary from Rocco himself:[audio:http://roccocastellan.wpengine.com/audio/fructose-commentary.mp3]
No 14 year old unless it’s a 14 year old gorilla, should ever even come within 300 lbs of 500 lbs. You would have to shovel… and I mean with a big shovel, shovel food into this kids mouth from when he was concieved until he is 14.
What was anyone thinking when the kid weighed in at over 300lbs when he was 12? That he might just start sloughing fat off 20lbs at a time. Maybe they thought he was going to take his 14 year old brain and go on some radical exercises and diet program all by himself… have you seen his mother? She doesn’t look like she’s ever passed up a Golden Corral in her life.
As a matter of fact I bet they have their own “labeled” trough at “The Golden Corral”. No one can get that fat with out a lot of encouragement.
I’m not big on the government intervening in our personal lives but this is real child abuse. There is no “medical” condition to blame this on just absolute neglect.
Here is the story in it’s entirety… leave me a comment and tell me what you think. I am still freaked out by this. http://abcnews.go.com/Health/WellnessNews/story?id=7941609
I literally almost shit my pants when this report came out. I wanted to release it when the media did but I wanted to do my “own” due diligence.
In many instances there is usually someone or some company with an agenda behind one of these studies… and I refuse to get caught up in that stupidity.
This time it is a “true” report and some of the popular protein drinks and meal replacement drinks do have high levels of toxins than I or any of you would like.
To tell you the truth… I’m a little baffled to why anyone or any company would have let this go unmonitored… to allow their product to be infused with toxins… is beyond my scope of thinking.
As a branding expert, fitness professional and just someone who cares about the public health… I’d probably recommend they make sure there was no toxins in something I sold… but that’s just me.
